Live Futures Trading with Damn Good Trading

Watch real-time futures day trading from the founder of Damn Prop Firms. $560K+ in verified payouts since 2022. Live every NY session — drop your prop firm questions in the chat.

Why Watch the Stream

Every weekday during the New York session, Damn Good Trading goes live on YouTube — hosted by Kyle Kozlowski, founder of Damn Prop Firms. Real futures contracts. Real prop firm accounts. No simulated demos, no fake P&L screenshots, no edited highlight reels. Just live execution on the same firms you're considering: Apex Trader Funding, Tradeify, Take Profit Trader, Topstep, and more.

If you're new to futures prop firms, watching someone trade them live solves the biggest information gap in this industry — what does the platform actually look like, how do you place a stop, what's the screen layout, how do you handle a fast move, what does it feel like to take a real $400 stop on a funded account? You don't get any of that from a comparison table. You get it from watching.

What You'll See on the Stream

The daily NY session covers live trades across NQ, ES, CL, and sometimes micro contracts when account drawdown is tight. Expect:

  • Real entries and exits on funded prop firm accounts — not a simulator
  • Live commentary on setup logic, risk management, and stop placement
  • Platform walkthroughsTradovate, TradingView, Quantower, and others depending on the firm
  • Q&A throughout — drop your questions in chat and get answers between trades
  • Rule discussion — daily drawdown, trailing drawdown, consistency rules, payout cycles as they come up
  • Honest take on each firm — what's working, what's broken, what's changed recently

About the Trader

Kyle Kozlowski — known on YouTube as Damn Good Trading — has been trading futures since 2022 with $560,000+ in verified prop firm payouts and $5,000,000+ in cumulative funded capital. He's also the founder of Damn Prop Firms, where every firm review is built on actual experience trading the account — not summarized off the firm's marketing page.

The stream isn't a paid course or a signal service. It's free. The value loop is simple: Kyle trades, you watch, you learn what each firm actually feels like, and if you decide to evaluate one, the DGT discount code gets you the cheapest entry every time.

How to Join the Conversation

The YouTube live chat runs alongside the stream — questions get answered between setups. If you want a more persistent place to talk strategy, post your fills, or get help passing an evaluation, the Damn Good Trading Discord has 3,000+ futures traders who are also on the journey. Most of them are watching the same stream you are.

Live Futures Trading FAQ

When does the live futures trading stream start?

The daily live trading session typically starts around 10:15 AM Eastern during the New York session. Streams run Monday through Friday and usually go two to three hours depending on market conditions. On Fed days, NFP, and CPI releases, the start time may shift earlier or the stream may run longer.

Is the trading on the stream live or simulated?

Live, on real prop firm funded accounts. No paper trading, no demo accounts, no edited replays. The accounts visible on the stream are actual funded accounts at firms like Apex Trader Funding, Tradeify, Take Profit Trader, and Topstep — the same firms reviewed on this site. Stops and targets fire for real money.

What contracts are traded during the live session?

The primary contracts traded are NQ (Nasdaq 100 E-mini) and ES (S&P 500 E-mini). Crude oil (CL) makes appearances during energy-driven sessions. When account drawdown is tight or for risk control, micro contracts (MNQ, MES, MCL) get used. Occasional dips into metals (GC, SI) or other futures when there's a clear setup.

Can I ask questions during the live trading stream?

Yes — the YouTube live chat is open during every stream. Questions about prop firm rules, platform setup, trade logic, drawdown management, or payout cycles get answered between setups. For longer-form discussion, the Damn Good Trading Discord has 3,000+ futures traders sharing fills, helping each other pass evaluations, and discussing strategy.

Is the live trading stream free to watch?

Completely free. No subscription, no paywall, no signal service upsell, no course pitch. The stream is hosted on YouTube and watchable on this page or directly at @DamnGoodTrading. The business model is the prop firm affiliate codes — if you watch, learn which firm fits your style, and decide to evaluate, the DGT discount codes get you the cheapest entry.

How do I know when the stream is live?

Three ways. First, the LIVE indicator bar at the top of every page on this site appears automatically the moment the YouTube channel goes live — click it to jump straight to this page. Second, subscribe to @DamnGoodTrading on YouTube and enable notifications. Third, the Damn Good Trading Discord posts an announcement in the announcements channel at stream start.

What platform does the stream show?

Depends on the firm being traded that day. Tradovate is the most common because most major futures prop firms support it (Apex, Tradeify, Topstep, Lucid, BluSky). TradingView appears when trading firms with TradingView execution support. Quantower, Rithmic-routed platforms, and NinjaTrader show up periodically. Each firm's review page lists which platforms it supports.

Can I follow Kyle's trades live and copy them?

Not recommended. By the time a trade is announced on stream, the market has moved. Latency, fill differences, and risk tolerance vary too much across accounts. The stream is educational — watch the logic, the stop placement, the entry timing, and the risk sizing, then apply the framework to your own setups. Most prop firms also have rules against pure copy trading without first-party intent. Use the stream to learn, not to follow.
