One thing that stood out to me with Blue Guardian is the payout guarantee. If an eligible payout goes past 24 business hours, they say you get an extra 10% profit share on that payout. Thats a pretty interesting move because most firms just say “processing time” and leave you…

Blue Guardian caught me a bit with the contract sizing after moving through the stages. During eval you can have decent size, then funded starts you lower and you gotta earn the right to add contracts as the account grows. Not really a bad thing, but if your strategy depends on…

📖 In-Depth Blue Guardian Review

The full hands-on breakdown — rules, payouts, worked examples, and who should (and shouldn’t) trade here.

Quick answer: Blue Guardian Futures rebuilt its whole lineup in July 2026 and it is now one of the better-value one-phase futures prop firms we track: 90% split on every model, no activation fee, news trading allowed, 24 business hours payout processing, daily payouts on the Express model, instant funding on Direct, and an earned Live Account with real CME execution and no payout caps after your fifth payout. Use code DGT for Up to 50% off — DGT always applies the biggest discount Blue Guardian offers on each model — open Blue Guardian Futures and pick a model.

This Blue Guardian Futures review is the DGT verdict on the October 2026 version of the prop firm — the four current account models, the rules that actually breach traders, the payout caps by size, what the Live Account is, and where each model fits. Every number here is pulled from the plan records we keep on Blue Guardian, so when they change a price or a cap the page changes with it. Pricing and rules were re-verified against blueguardian.com and its futures help center on Oct 13, 2026.

Which Blue Guardian Futures account should you buy?

All four models share the 6% target, the EOD trailing drawdown, the 90% split and the Live Account path. They differ on three things: how you get paid, whether a daily loss limit and a consistency rule apply, and price. Here is the honest read on each.

Standard — highest caps, payouts every 3 days

The Standard account is the “premium caps, fast cadence” model. No consistency rule in the evaluation, so a single big day passes you. Funded, you keep a buffer in the account (1st payout capped at $2,500, every payout after at $3,000. Eligible 3 days after your first funded trade; a $2,100 buffer stays in the account; 40% best-day rule on the funded account only. on the $50K) and a 40% best-day rule applies to payouts. Contracts are 1 / 4 / 8 / 12 minis by size with no funded scaling ladder. Daily loss limits are soft (they close your day, not your account): none on $25K, $1,000 / $2,000 / $3,000 on the bigger sizes. List price $209 for the $50K — $136 with code DGT at blueguardian.com.

Reserve — the flexible one: no funded consistency, DLL optional

Reserve is the model most traders should look at first. Consistency applies in the evaluation only (40% by default, or a 50% version that lets you pass in two days), and the funded account has no consistency rule, no buffer and no minimum days. You choose at checkout whether you want a daily loss limit; the DLL version is the cheaper one — $100 list for the $50K versus the no-DLL version noted below — and the payout is 50% of profit per request, up to $2,000, after 5 winning days of $150+ (payouts 2–5 also need $750 net profit since the last one). No buffer, no funded consistency rule, no minimum days. Funded contracts start low (1 / 2 / 3 / 3 minis) and scale up as you lock in profit, so Reserve suits traders who size gradually rather than swing full size from day one.

Four checkout configurations (list): $1,200 DLL + 40% consistency $100 (default, 3-day pass) · DLL + 50% $116 (2-day pass) · no DLL + 40% $152 · no DLL + 50% $180. Consistency applies in the evaluation only. Multi-account ladder: 2nd 30%, 3rd 35%, 4th 40%, 5th 70% off. Reset costs 10% less than the price you paid; reactivation $600. Start a Reserve evaluation with code DGT

Express — daily payouts, cash flow on tap

Express is the daily-payout account. Pass the evaluation (40% best-day rule, or the 50% option for a faster pass), build the buffer, and from then on you can request a payout every single day up to a per-day cap — Up to $1,100 per day, every day, from $500 per request, once the account is $2,100 above start. From the 2nd payout, new profit equal to 50% of the last payout first. No funded consistency rule. Daily loss limits are soft: none on the $25K evaluation, then $1,000 / $1,500 / $2,250 on the evaluation and $500 / $1,000 / $1,250 / $1,750 once funded. The $100K and $150K funded accounts run a slightly tighter drawdown than their evaluations ($3,000 (End of Day) · funded $2,500 on the $100K). Express $50K lists at $179, $90 with code DGT — start an Express account.

Direct — the Blue Guardian instant funding rules (no evaluation)

Direct skips the evaluation entirely: pay once, trade a funded sim account the same day. There is no profit target, no reset and no buffer, but the rules after purchase are tighter than the other three: a soft daily loss limit from day one ($1,250 (soft) on the $50K), a consistency rule that steps from 20% on your first payout to 25% and then 30%, and a payout goal — Payouts 1–3 capped at $2,000, then $2,500 from the 4th. First payout at $3,000 profit, then every $2,000. Best-day rule 20% → 25% → 30% by payout number. No buffer. Direct $50K is $494 list, $321 with DGT. Buy it only if you already trade with a plan that keeps your best day small — get a Direct account here.

All four sizes of each model follow the same shape; the full 16-plan table with live prices is above, and every payout cap by size is in the caps table below.

Blue Guardian Futures payout rules, payout methods and caps

Payout methods are Rise (bank transfer in most countries) and crypto, both with a 3% processing fee and a $100 minimum by crypto ($500 by Rise, $1,000 on Direct). Requests are processed within 24 business hours. Caps are per request on Standard, Reserve and Direct, and per day on Express. Standard and Direct step up after the first payouts; Reserve pays 50% of your profit up to its cap; Express caps the daily amount. None of them are lifetime limits — the cap resets each payout, and the Live Account removes it entirely. Get funded with Blue Guardian Futures now.

The Live Account: real CME execution after your fifth payout

This is the part most reviews miss. After your fifth payout on any funded Blue Guardian model you are moved to a Live Account — real execution through the firm’s partnered brokerage, not a simulator. It opens with a $0 balance and it drops every rule that limited you on the funded sim: Live Account (real CME execution) after the 5th payout on any funded account — $0 starting balance, daily payouts, no payout caps, no consistency rule, no daily loss limit, plus a one-time Live Bonus of $1,000 / $2,000 / $3,000 / $4,500 by size. You are paid daily on whatever you make. News trading is the one thing not permitted on live, and a live account that hits its drawdown from zero is closed rather than reset. For traders who have been burned by firms that keep funded accounts on a sim forever, this is the reason Blue Guardian moved up our rankings.

Rules that actually breach Blue Guardian traders

  • EOD trailing drawdown. Calculated at the 4:10 PM ET close, not intraday, so an intraday spike against you that recovers by the close does not count. It stops trailing at your start balance plus $100 once you take a payout.
  • Daily loss limits are soft. Hitting one closes your positions and locks you out for the day; it does not breach the account. Standard $25K, Express $25K evaluations and the no-DLL Reserve have none.
  • Auto-flat at 4:10 PM ET. Open trades close automatically and it is not a violation, but you cannot hold overnight or over the weekend on any model.
  • Consistency rules. Standard: 40% best-day on the funded account, none in the evaluation. Reserve and Express: 40% (or 50%) in the evaluation, none funded — on Reserve the firm adds a 1% cushion so 40.9% still passes. Direct: 20% on payout one, 25% on payout two, 30% from payout three.
  • 2% price-limit rule. Orders placed more than 2% away from the market are rejected; stops and targets must sit inside that band.
  • Prohibited: latency or HFT bots, arbitrage, hedging across accounts or firms, copy trading from other people, group or pooled trading, account sharing, exploiting pricing errors, VPN abuse. Copying your own trades across your own Blue Guardian accounts is fine.
  • Inactivity. Funded accounts need a trade at least every 30 days.

Blue Guardian Futures 50K daily loss limit — and every other size

The most-searched Blue Guardian rule, so here it is exactly. On the $50K account the daily loss limit is $1,000 (soft) on Standard, $1,000 (soft) on Express, $1,200 on the DLL version (soft); none on the no-DLL version on Reserve, and $1,250 (soft) on Direct. If you have seen a $1,250 figure quoted for the 50K, that is the Direct account today (and the retired Guardian evaluation before the July 2026 relaunch) — not the Standard evaluation. Every daily loss limit at Blue Guardian is soft: it closes your open trades and locks the account for the rest of the session, and you come back the next day with the account intact. The maximum drawdown is the rule that ends the account.

Daily loss limit Standard Reserve (DLL version) Express (eval · funded) Direct
$25K None $600 on the DLL version (soft); none on the no-DLL version None in evaluation · $500 funded (soft) $1,000 (soft)
$50K $1,000 (soft) $1,200 on the DLL version (soft); none on the no-DLL version $1,000 (soft) $1,250 (soft)
$100K $2,000 (soft) $1,700 on the DLL version (soft); none on the no-DLL version $1,500 evaluation · $1,250 funded (soft) $2,500 (soft)
$150K $3,000 (soft) $3,000 on the DLL version (soft); none on the no-DLL version $2,250 evaluation · $1,750 funded (soft) $3,000 (soft)

Reserve is the only model where you can remove the daily loss limit entirely — pick the no-DLL version at checkout and pay the higher price; the maximum drawdown still applies.

Pricing, resets and the multi-account discount

Every Blue Guardian account is a one-time purchase with no activation fee when you pass. Resets: Standard $104 / $141 / $223 / $286 · Express $72 / $121 / $191 / $261 · Reserve 10% less than the price you paid · Direct: no reset (new purchase). A funded account breached before its first payout can be reactivated for a fee ($450–$1,200 on Standard by size, $300–$900 on Reserve, $180–$750 on Express) instead of re-passing the evaluation. Code DGT returns the largest discount Blue Guardian offers on each model — 35% on Standard, Reserve and Direct, and the higher Express rate (Express $50K $179 list → $90 with the code). Buy more than one account in the same order and the checkout stacks its own ladder: 30% off the second, 35% off the third, 40% off the fourth and the fifth free (70% off on Reserve). See the current Blue Guardian discount and how to apply it, or go straight to Blue Guardian with the code.

Who should trade Blue Guardian Futures — and who shouldn’t

Pick Blue Guardian if you want a one-phase evaluation you can pass in a day, you want the choice between daily payouts (Express) and no funded consistency rule (Reserve), you trade news, or you want a documented path to real-capital execution without a firm-forced “transition” you did not ask for. The 90% split with no activation fee also makes the $25K and $50K sizes some of the cheapest routes to a first payout we track — get funded at Blue Guardian with code DGT.

Look elsewhere if you need to hold overnight (auto-flat at 4:10 PM ET every day), you trade from one of the 57 restricted countries, you want a large single account ($150K is the ceiling, though 5 of them stack to $750K), or you dislike the Rise/crypto payout rails and the 3% processing fee. Traders who want an uncapped funded sim from payout one should compare Take Profit Trader; traders who want daily payouts with the biggest daily cap should compare Tradeify and Lucid Trading.

Blue Guardian Futures FAQ

Is Blue Guardian Futures legit?

Yes. Blue Guardian Futures is the CME futures division of Blue Guardian, founded by Sean Bainton in 2021 and run from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The simulated trading platforms are provided by Blue Guardian Limited and payments by Iconic Exchange FZCO; the brand reports $35M+ in payouts across its CFD and futures programs. We tested the futures program with our own money — see the DGT Live Test above.

What is the Blue Guardian Futures profit split?

90% to the trader on every current model — Standard, Reserve, Express and Direct. The 100%-on-the-first-$15K tier belonged to the legacy Guardian and Pro accounts, which were retired on 6 July 2026.

How fast does Blue Guardian Futures pay out?

Approved requests are processed within 24 business hours; the firm's own figure is about one hour on average. Payouts go out by Rise or crypto with a 3% processing fee, minimum $100 by crypto or $500 by Rise ($1,000 on Direct).

Does Blue Guardian Futures offer daily payouts?

Yes, on the Express model. Once the funded account is above its buffer you can request a payout every day, capped per day at $600 ($25K), $1.1K ($50K), $1.5K ($100K) and $2.5K ($150K). Standard pays every 3 days, Reserve after 5 winning days and Direct at each payout goal. The Live Account pays daily on every model.

What are the Blue Guardian Futures payout caps?

Standard: $1.5K / $2.5K / $3K / $4K on the first payout, rising by $500 from the second. Reserve: 50% of profit up to $1K / $2K / $2.5K / $3K. Express: $600 / $1.1K / $1.5K / $2.5K per day. Direct: $1K / $2K / $2.5K / $3K on payouts one to three, higher from the fourth. The Live Account has no cap.

Does Blue Guardian Futures have a consistency rule (consistency score)?

It depends on the model — Blue Guardian shows it in your dashboard as a consistency score, your best day as a share of total profit. Standard has no consistency rule in the evaluation and a 40% best-day rule on the funded account. Reserve and Express have a 40% rule (or an optional 50% version) in the evaluation only and none once funded. Direct applies 20% to your first payout, 25% to the second and 30% from the third. The Live Account has none.

Is there an activation fee at Blue Guardian Futures?

No. Every current model is a one-time evaluation fee with no activation charge, no monthly subscription and no data fees.

What is the Blue Guardian Futures drawdown?

End-of-day trailing on every model, measured at the 4:10 PM ET close. Standard: $1,000 (End of Day) / $2,000 (End of Day) / $3,500 (End of Day) / $5,000 (End of Day). Reserve: $1,000 (End of Day) / $2,000 (End of Day) / $3,000 (End of Day) / $4,500 (End of Day). Express: $1,000 (End of Day) / $2,000 (End of Day) / $3,000 (End of Day) · funded $2,500 / $4,500 (End of Day) · funded $3,500. Direct: $1,500 (End of Day) / $2,000 (End of Day) / $3,500 (End of Day) / $4,500 (End of Day). After your first payout it locks at your start balance plus $100.

Does Blue Guardian Futures have a daily loss limit?

On most accounts, and it is soft — hitting it closes your trades for the day without breaching the account. Standard $50K / $100K / $150K: $1,000 / $2,000 / $3,000; Standard $25K: none. Express: none on the $25K evaluation, then $1,000 / $1,500 / $2,250 in the evaluation and $500 / $1,000 / $1,250 / $1,750 funded. Direct: $1,000 (soft) / $1,250 (soft) / $2,500 (soft) / $3,000 (soft). Reserve lets you choose at checkout: the DLL version ($600 / $1,200 / $1,700 / $3,000) is cheaper, the no-DLL version costs more.

What is the Blue Guardian Futures Live Account?

An earned real-money account, not a product you can buy. After your fifth payout on a funded Blue Guardian account you move to live CME execution through the firm's partnered brokerage: Live Account (real CME execution) after the 5th payout on any funded account — $0 starting balance, daily payouts, no payout caps, no consistency rule, no daily loss limit, plus a one-time Live Bonus of $1,000 / $2,000 / $3,000 / $4,500 by size. News trading is not permitted on live accounts, and one that hits its drawdown from the $0 start is closed rather than reset.

Which Blue Guardian Futures account is best for beginners?

Reserve $50K on the DLL version — $100 list, $65 with code DGT. It is the cheapest $50K on the roster, the daily loss limit protects you from one bad session, and the funded account has no consistency rule and no buffer. If you want to get paid every day instead, Express $50K ($90 with the code) is the next step up.

How much does Blue Guardian Futures cost?

List prices for the $25K / $50K / $100K / $150K sizes: Standard $154 / $209 / $330 / $424; Reserve (DLL version) $64 / $100 / $148 / $296; Express $119 / $179 / $283 / $440; Direct $307 / $494 / $659 / $824. Code DGT takes Up to 50% off — 35% on Standard, Reserve and Direct and the higher Express rate — and buying several accounts in one order stacks the checkout ladder up to a free fifth account.

Does Blue Guardian Futures allow news trading?

Yes, in both the evaluation and the funded account on every model — a change from the legacy accounts, which restricted news on funded. The only place news trading is not permitted is the Live Account.

Which platforms does Blue Guardian Futures support?

Tradovate, with NinjaTrader and TradingView connected through your Tradovate login, and DeepCharts on DXFeed data. Data is included in the account price. Trading hours are 6:00 PM to 4:10 PM ET with an automatic flatten at the close.

Which countries are restricted at Blue Guardian Futures — is Pakistan allowed?

Blue Guardian restricts traders from 57 countries. Pakistan is on the restricted list, along with Ghana, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Turkey, Ukraine and Vietnam; India is accepted. US, UK, Canadian, Australian and EU traders are accepted. The country-by-country eligibility list is on our prop firms by country pages.

What are the Blue Guardian payout methods?

Rise and crypto. Rise pays to a bank account in most countries; crypto pays to your wallet. Both carry a 3% processing fee, the minimum is $100 by crypto or $500 by Rise ($1,000 on Direct), and approved requests are processed within 24 business hours.

How much is the Blue Guardian Futures reset fee?

Standard $104 / $141 / $223 / $286 · Express $72 / $121 / $191 / $261 · Reserve 10% less than the price you paid · Direct: no reset (new purchase). A funded account that breaches before its first payout can be reactivated instead of re-passing: $450 / $750 / $900 / $1,200 on Standard, $300 / $600 / $750 / $900 on Reserve and $180 / $330 / $450 / $750 on Express by size. Direct has no reset — a breached Direct account is a new purchase.

What are the rules on a Blue Guardian instant funded (Direct) account?

No evaluation and no profit target, but tighter funded rules from day one: a soft daily loss limit of $1,000 (soft) / $1,250 (soft) / $2,500 (soft) / $3,000 (soft), an EOD trailing drawdown of $1,500 (End of Day) / $2,000 (End of Day) / $3,500 (End of Day) / $4,500 (End of Day) that goes static once you exceed the trail balance or take a payout, a best-day rule of 20% on your first payout, 25% on the second and 30% from the third, and a payout goal of 6% for the first payout and 4% after that. Caps are $1K / $2K / $2.5K / $3K on payouts one to three, rising from the fourth. The old Instant Starter and Instant Standard accounts were retired in July 2026; Direct replaced them.
